I’ve launched the new photo gallery at Drew Barrymore Fan! It currently has over 40,000 images and I have sooo many more to add so be sure to keep checking back for updates. I’m focusing on Drew’s career and current events and will then work my way to her magazines, photo sessions, and older appearances. It is a total joy to work on this fansite. I want to take a moment to thank my amazing friends for all of their help: Milane, Claudia, Victoria, Kayla, Jess, AliKat, and Courtney.

Press: RuPaul, Drew Barrymore, Faith Hill and James Corden to judge new talent competition

RuPaul, Drew Barrymore, Faith Hill and James Corden are set to headline The World’s Best, a global talent competition.

The 10-episode series comes from reality TV veterans Mark Burnett (Warner Horizon Unscripted & Alternative Television) and Mike Darnell (MGM Television), who are best known for their involvement in The Voice and American Idol.

Set to premiere in 2019, the series will feature acts from every genre as they attempt to break through the “wall of the world”. Not only will they have to impress the judging panel, but they’ll have to win over 50 of the world’s most accomplished entertainment experts.

Sharon Vuong – CBS’ SVP, Alternative Programming for CBS – said: “It’s only fitting that The World’s Best perform in front of the world’s best. James, Drew, Faith and RuPaul are all amazing talents who have excelled in their respective fields on a global scale. We can’t wait for them to bring their distinct voices to a show that’s unlike any other.”

“We feel incredibly lucky that James Corden agreed to be part of this groundbreaking global event competition,” commented Darnell. He’s an absolute force of nature, and his versatility, passion and showmanship are unrivaled.

“The very name of the show defined the caliber of judges we sought out and ultimately got. Drew, RuPaul and Faith are incredibly accomplished superstars whose talents encompass every area of entertainment. Along with James, The World’s Best will now be the gold standard of competition shows.”

Burnett also said: “James Corden is at the top of his game and there is no one better to host this ultimate international competition series. This groundbreaking series is like the Olympics of talent shows and needed the perfect talent combination.”

EW.com gives us the good news that Santa Clarita Diet will premiere season 2 next month!

Hungry for more, um, flesh? There’s not long to wait; Netflix has set the season 2 premiere date for Santa Clarita Diet for late March.

When the flesh-eating zombie horror-comedy returns March 23, we find Joel (Timothy Olyphant) and Sheila (Drew Barrymore) attempting to maintain a some kind of normalcy in their lives while hiding the fact that people are going missing in the Californian suburb as Sheila feeds her need for blood and guts and they search for a cure for the zombie virus.

The new season also adds some recurring new faces and a bunch of guest stars, including Joel McHale, Gerald McRaney, Zachary Knighton, and Maggie Lawson. McHale and Lawson step into the shoes of Chris and Christa, a successful, type-A married realtor couple who expose Joel and Sheila’s competitive streak. Castle and This Is Us star Gerald McRaney also joins the cast as Ed Thune, a retired army colonel Joel finds intimidating, while Zachary Knighton plays a laid-back Serbian Californian on a ruthless quest to uncover the truth about the undead. The first season of Santa Clarita Diet is available to stream on Netflix now before the second season drops on March 23.

Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant to Star in Netflix Series Santa Clarita Diet

Variety shares that Drew has joined a new Netflix series.

Netflix has greenlit a comedy series with stars Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant, Variety has learned. Titled “Santa Clarita Diet,” the single-cam project hails from creator Victor Fresco.

“Santa Clarita Diet” follows Joel (Olyphant) and Sheila (Barrymore), a married couple who are real estate agents leading vaguely discontented lives in the L.A. suburb of Santa Clarita, until Sheila goes through a dramatic change sending both their lives down a road of death and destruction — but in a good way.

“The genius of casting Timothy and Drew, combined with my comedic … oh wait, that’s Cindy’s quote. I agree with what Cindy is about to say,” Fresco said in a statement — showing off his comedy chops.

Netflix’s Cindy Holland said, “The genius casting of Timothy and Drew combined with Victor’s unique comedic sensibility will delight, and definitely surprise, our members around the world.”

Fresco will serve as showrunner, writer and exec producer, along with Barrymore and Olyphant who will pull double duty, also exec producing. Kapital Entertainment and Kapital-based KatCo are both behind the Netflix production with Aaron Kaplan and Tracy Katsky both exec producing. Barrymore will produce by way of her Flower Films shingle with the company’s Chris Miller and Ember Truesdell also set as EPs and Nancy Juvonen as a producer.

Olyphant most recently came off of FX’s critically acclaimed series “Justified.” For Barrymore, the project marks her first regular series role.

“Santa Clarita Diet” is slated to launch in 2017 on Netflix.

Drew Barrymore to produce new cooking reality series

As we know how much Drew loves watching cooking shows I am excited by this fun news that Fox has shared.

Actress Drew Barrymore is stepping into the world of reality TV after signing up to produce a new cooking competition.

The Charlie’s Angels star has been brushing up on her culinary skills since wedding husband Will Kopelman and becoming a mum to daughter Olive last year, and she has become obsessed with watching cooks battle it out on TV.

She reveals she records “every food competition show” to watch while she’s at home, and now Barrymore has decided to step behind the scenes to create her own, titled Knife Fight, for America’s Esquire Network, according to Marie Claire magazine.

The actress also admits she has developed a fascination with all things Italian, and plans to one day travel to the European country to learn how to make hearty family meals from local chefs.

She says, “(I want) to live in Italy for a summer and go to cooking school while I’m there.”

A premiere date for Knife Fight has yet to be announced.
