Check out this clip of Drew on the Daily Show.
As all know Drew & Adam are good friends! So USA Today had the two friends quiz each other!
NEW YORK – Put two famous people in a very small, somewhat claustrophobic room together after giving them a lengthy homework assignment, and something strangely magical happens.
You learn that Drew Barrymore would love to remake Five Easy Pieces, and play the Jack Nicholson part – although she’d never actually do it because really, why mess with perfection? And that Adam Sandler knew he’d nailed a joke as a kid when he’d see his dad’s belly rolling with laughter.
While in the throes of promoting Blended, their third film together, Sandler and Barrymore sat down for a midday chat. Their film brings them together on screen, as two single parents who somehow find one another, as parents in romantic capers tend to do. And each brought questions to ask the other.
“I have questions for you, Drew. You better get them right,” announces the ordinarily press-shy Sandler.
“It’s called preparation,” he says.
Their new project is a reflection of where both actors are in real life; both are married with young daughters. “I feel capable and happy and strong. What really plays the biggest part in this is one, I’m with a really safe group of people. So that’s everything. I feel supported. Everyone is happy and good to each other. This is family. And also, my kids are healthy. That’s most important,” says Barrymore, whose daughter Olive is almost 2 and Frankie arrived on April 22.
Their careers have gone in different directions. Sandler became his own industry, releasing comedies that generate dollars, if not critical accolades. Even sitting down for this interview is a stretch for Sandler, who hasn’t done print in roughly two decades. Why? He doesn’t need to glad-hand the media, because his films make bank on their own. Case in point: 2013’s Grown Ups 2, not exactly on anyone’s top ten list, grossed $133.7 million domestically. And Sandler’s estimated lifetime box office gross according to BoxofficeMojo.com: $2.3 billion.
And Barrymore has veered away from moviemaking largely in favor of running her makeup company, Flower, and starting a family with her third husband, art consultant Will Kopelman. But here they are, Sandler on his Apple laptop, Barrymore holding an old-school list of questions on paper. So, go.
On comedy:
Barrymore: “When did you first make someone laugh as a kid? Who was it and when was it?”
Sandler: “Let’s see. I don’t remember the first one. I believe I was always trying to make my father laugh. It was the most important thing in my life as a child, making sure pops was happy. If Stan liked it, the whole house was happy. When my father laughed, he had a big hearty laugh, and it was just – it felt good, felt good. That was the man I wanted to see smile the most.”
Barrymore: “Do you have a particular memory, being in your pajamas, doing a bit for him?”
Sandler: “I know that we had a bunch of different hats in the house. I would run down the hallway and throw on a different hat and try and do an impression of somebody, or an accent, anything to make the man happy. My father was usually laying in his bed in his underwear. If he was laughing, I’d see his belly shaking.”
Barrymore: “The belly meter.”
Sandler: “The belly meter, exactly. If it was shaking for more than 20 seconds, we knew we had a good bit going.”
Drew’s Blended co-star Bella Thorne interviewed Drew & Adam during their press tour!
E!Online spoke with Adam about working with Drew as he insists that he scares Drew off!
Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler’s new film Blended is the third film that the actors have starred in together playing love interests (they’ve also costarred in The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates).
So are Sandler or Barrymore getting tired of working together?
“She wouldn’t want it every day, so I have to give her a pass every four or five years,” Sandler joked to us exclusively at last night’s Blended premiere in Hollywood. “And then I jump in and remind her of why she moved on.”
As for having to repeatedly romance a longtime friend onscreen, Sandler says, yes, it does get awkward.
“Absolutely, for Drew every time,” he laughed. “It’s been awkward when we were strangers for her. But I keep saying, ‘They paid you, buddy, get in here.'” LOL!
Meanwhile, at last night’s premiere, Barrymore gushed about her 1-month-old daughter, Frankie, and her 20-month-old daughter, Olive. “The girls are happy and healthy and I’m just so lucky right now,” she said. “It’s insane.”
As for her recent family photo shoot, Barrymore said, “It was ridiculous. We are like anything but the perfect family. It was like, ‘Oh my god, this is nuts! I hope we get a picture, but if we don’t, who cares?’ But it was great.”
At the end of last week Drew stopped by the Tonight Show which is hosted by her good friend Jimmy Fallon! And the interview does not disappoint!
And of course we have some pics!

I love Ellen’s show but how cute to have both Adam & Drew talking about their daughters with Ellen. Plus it is cute to watch them reminiscence about filming The Wedding Singer … anyway you need to watch this adorable clip.
Drew Barrymore isn’t pregnant anymore, but she’s still got a glow.
The actress gave birth to her second daughter, Frankie, just three weeks ago, yet she still managed to step out and appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (airing May 19) alongside her pal Adam Sandler to promote their upcoming film Blended—and she looked absolutely amazing!
“It feels like a miracle and it’s also so awesome I have to say,” she added about stepping out so soon after giving birth. “I feel like I actually have, first of all, I love this movie and I would never not like show up for it and I feel so good and happy. My kid is healthy. I have nothing to complain about. Like, I’m so blessed.”
She also explained how she and hubby Will Kopelman came to decide on their baby girl’s name, noting that almost everything they liked sounded like food or colors when paired with her big sis Olive.
“We, um, it was just a name that like came to my husband and I about a few months before she was born and it was just sort of like I think this is it and then we just gave ourselves the room to change our mind but we never did. Not the most interesting story,” Barrymore said.
The couple welcomed their second child together on April 22, and while she quickly got back to work, she couldn’t help but gush about motherhood when talking to E! News at the film’s junket.
“You know what’s going on more, so you’re a lot less worried and stressed,” Barrymore said. “It’s so much more work, but it is so much more calming in a way. It’s just grounding.”

Oooh found another clip!
ET Online sat down with Drew & Adam during their interview for their film Blended and showed the duo an interview they did together for press for their film The Wedding Singer. Click on the image below to watch.
Blended stars Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler take a look back at their first ET interview together for ‘The Wedding Singer,’ which is now 16 years old!
This weekend is the MTV Movie awards and MTV talked with Adam & Drew about their Best Kiss Advice.
Perhaps she doesn’t know it, but Bella Thorne just worked in the company of MTV Movie Awards royalty.
Thorne, best known for playing CeCe Jones on Disney Channel’s “Shake It Up,” will soon be seen on the big-screen in “Blended,” the upcoming comedy about a bad blind date that blossoms into true romance. “Blended” stars Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, the winners of a combined total of eight Movie Awards statuettes, for their work in “The Wedding Singer” and “50 First Dates.”
It’s early days yet, but maybe — just maybe — some of that Movie Awards magic rubbed off on Thorne. If nothing else, the young actress has her sights set on a Movie Awards category she hopes to one day dominate.
“The Best Kiss award,” she told MTV’s Josh Horowitz with a big grin. “I love that one. It’s my favorite!”
Thorne even has her eye on one of this year’s Best Shirtless Performance nominees as her future kissing partner: “The Wolf of Wall Street” actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
“I love Leonardo DiCaprio,” she said. “When I meet him for the first time, I’m going to be like, ‘Oh, thank goodness we’ve finally met, because now I don’t have to plan the wedding alone!'”
That forward declaration aside, Thorne ought to start planning how to win the Best Kiss award now — and she doesn’t need to look any further for advice than Sandler and Barrymore, who previously scored a Best Kiss award of their own for their rain-soaked “50 First Dates” make-out moment.
“It does so much for the kiss,” Sandler said of how rainstorms affect smooch scenes. “It tightens up the body. You feel chilly. You’re cold. You’re tight. Your nipples are way out there.”
“Yeah,” Barrymore added, “mine too!”
Okay, that last part is a little, ah, out there. Otherwise, there you have it, Thorne: Leonardo DiCaprio, in the rain — a few years from now and that Golden Popcorn could be yours!
